Are you new to Heart to Home Meals? Did you have any queries about how we have teamed up with Purolator? We have answers for the most common questions asked about our service. See below for further clarification.

 

 

Is there a minimum order value?

There is a minimum of $60 on all orders, with a $12.95 delivery charge. However if you spend over $100 with Heart to Home Meals, the delivery is free!

 

How can I pay?


Payment can be taken over the phone by credit card by our customer services team who will call you once you submit your order. Unfortunately we are not able to accept cash or cheque on delivery.

 

When will you deliver?

We currently deliver every Thursday. Orders must be placed before 5pm on the Monday of that week. The meals can arrive anytime during the designated day but will be with you before 6pm.

 

How will the food be delivered?

We deliver via our partners at Purolator, who will bring the frozen food directly to your door. The meals will be packaged in a Styrofoam cooler, with dry ice and some packing paper. Typically all the dry ice evaporates in shipment however there may be some residual dry ice in the cooler which should be handled with care and disposed of safely outside or in your sink until it has dissipated.

 

What happens if I’m not at home to accept the delivery?

If you are not home to take receipt of the meals, the driver will take the parcel back to the depot. Heart to Home Meals will then attempt to make contact with you shortly afterwards to try to arrange a redelivery of the meals the same day. We cannot be responsible for your foods freshness if you are not home at the time of the delivery and Purolator must redeliver your food the next business day.

 

What should I do once I receive the meals?

Remove the meals from the cooler and place them into your freezer immediately. The Styrofoam box is constructed from panels and can be disassembled easily.

 

What if the food is defrosted upon receipt?


In the unlikely event that you find that any of the meals or desserts are defrosted upon receipt, contact Heart to Home Meals immediately at 1-866-494-4333

 

Can the packaging be recycled?

The cardboard box is fully recyclable. The Styrofoam cooler can often be recycled; please check with your municipality’s recycling policy.
