Recall of certain meatball meals
Heart to Home Meals is recalling certain lots of meatball meals because they contain egg, milk, and wheat ingredients which are not declared on the label. The recalled products have been sold in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Nova Scotia. Do not consume the recalled products if you are allergic or sensitive. Furthermore, do not consume the recalled products if you have celiac disease or other gluten-related disorders.
The recalled products are:
• Honey Garlic Meatballs (84547), with best before dates of 23NO29 & 24JA09
• Spaghetti and Meatballs (84680), with a best before date of 23DE19
• Sweet and Sour Meatballs (84751), with a best before date of 23NO29
• Meatballs in Mushroom Gravy (84850), with a best before date of 23DE01 & 24JA10
These meals are safe to consume for anyone who does not have a sensitivity or allergy and there have been no complaints or reports of illness. However, as the labels are incorrect the meals are being recalled. All other meals with different best before dates have correct labels and are therefore not being recalled.
If you have a meal in your freezer identified above as a part of this recall, you should either throw it out or contact your local Heart to Home Meals team to arrange for its return and a full refund.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
